Twitter is a great service to get information out instantly to your patrons. Whether you have them follow you on twitter, or have created a way to have the “Tweets” (as the updates are called) on your site, it is great tool to put you in touch with the people that really want to know more about your venue.
Here is a link to a great article about twitter and many of the different services out there to help you in using this new Web 2.0, Social Media Tool.

On the flight home from Seattle I got to thinking about all of the topics we covered at the conference, and I was overwhelmed with all of the important information that came out of the conference. I also found it interesting that four of the five sessions focused on technology. In any case, I thought it might be great to start this conversation by inviting you all to post your notes about the sessions, in an effort to share what we all found most interesting, and get the dialogue going. So, regitster and fire away! I hope you all enjoy the resources on the site that Mike and Victor put up, and check back often for new stuff.
