TPAC on YouTube
At TPAC, we are trying to take on initiatives to educate the public about what the hottest tickets on Broadway are and why. We wanted to present real-time, exciting footage from New York during the league conference about our reations and the reactions of others. YouTube provided a great platform for delivering that message in an organized and measurable fashion.
We used Pure Digital’s Flip Mino HD video camera ($229) to capture the video, and easily syndicated the video via our custom player below. The custom player is free to use from YouTube, and very easy to set up.
Additionally, everyone from TPAC at the conference had access to a camera, so that they could shoot video and give their personal take.

You Tube Promotions
While most of us don’t do large scale promos in the street i.e. “Jelly Doughnut throwing contest for Jelly’s Last Jam.” We still have the need to engage our audiences with our promotions, right? You Tube promos have been a great success in many markets. Simple You Tube promos include looking for the shows biggest fan locally, best karaoke version of a song. The user records… puts on You Tube and send your media partner the link. You post the winners on your website.
